Master

In the Department of Educational Sciences, thesis, non-thesis master's, and doctoral programs are carried out in the fields of Educational Sciences. The principle of providing students with the knowledge, skills, and equipment appropriate to their age requirements is taken as the basis for creating the current programs. In line with these principles, the Department offers postgraduate programs in the fields of Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Administration, Measurement and Evaluation in Learning, and Guidance and Psychological Counseling.

 

Division of Curriculum and Instruction Thesis/Non-Thesis Master's Degree:

The thesis master's program started its education activities in the fall semester of the 2008-2009 academic year, and the distance non-thesis master's program started its education activities in the fall semester of the 2018-2019 academic year.

 

Division of Educational Administration Thesis/Non-Thesis Master's Degree:

The Division of Educational Administration is a discipline organized within the Department of Educational Sciences. The discipline of educational management includes study areas related to the management, supervision, planning, economy, and policy of the education system at macro and micro scales. There are three master's degree programs, one of which is with a thesis, within the Division of Educational Administration. One of the non-thesis master's programs is within the scope of evening education, and the other is within the scope of distance education.

Theoretical and applied research, publication, and teaching activities are carried out for the development of our country's education system through master's programs within the Division of Educational Administration. Through these activities, it is aimed to create an impact that spreads throughout the country, especially in Tokat and its surroundings. The ultimate goal of the Division of Educational Administration is to expand the circle of activity and influence from local to universal.

 

Division of Measurement and Evaluation in Learning Master's Degree with Thesis:

Our master's program with thesis started its education activities in the 2021-2022 spring semester. Graduates of the Master's Program with thesis in Measurement and Evaluation in Learning are given the title of "Science Expert". After this process, if they wish, they can become academic personnel by completing the doctoral program and obtaining the title of Doctor (Dr.).

 

Division of Guidance and Psychological Counseling Master's Degree with Thesis:

The Psychological Counseling and Guidance master's program is a well-established program that has been providing postgraduate education for many years, has contributed to the opening of many Psychological Counseling and Guidance programs at the national level, and trains experts and academicians for the Psychological Counseling and Guidance units and programs of many institutions and universities.
